Hey guys, I’m Phillipa from Fit College and today I’m going to be taking you through a couple of hamstring stretches.
Hamstring flexibility is really important for maintaining good posture, injury prevention and maintaining mobility so that you can do all of those sporting moves that you need. Awesome.
So the first one I’ve got for you is a pike stretch. So sitting on the floor with your feet straight out in front of you. For many people sitting with your back against the wall will be enough of a stretch. If that’s not then you can lean forward over towards your toes. Try bring your belly button as far forward as possible and if that’s too easy, you can always grab your toes and try to pull back and get your elbows to touch the floor. Cool.
The next one is the ‘triangle pose’. So one foot in front of the other and you’re leaning forward over your front foot. If that’s too easy, you can always twist through.
There’s my hamstring stretches for you guys, I hope you tried them out.
Have a great day, thanks for watching.
